Cosmos presents an interesting question for the multichain economy: how much value can an ecosystem create when individual application chains retain significant independence? $ATOM is associated with the Cosmos Hub, an important component of the broader Cosmos ecosystem. Interoperability can encourage expansion, but ecosystem growth does not necessarily translate into direct value for the Hub's token. Security economics and token utility deserve careful scrutiny.
