Optimism represents an interesting experiment in Ethereum scaling and shared infrastructure. Its broader Superchain vision aims to connect multiple chains through a common technological ecosystem. However, expansion introduces an important question: how much economic value ultimately accrues to the OP token? Ecosystem growth and token demand are related questions, but they are not necessarily the same thing.
