Optimism represents an interesting experiment in blockchain ecosystem coordination. Its Superchain vision focuses on creating a connected environment of OP Stack-based networks rather than treating every blockchain as an isolated product. The opportunity is substantial, but coordination, interoperability, and sustainable economic incentives remain important challenges. Ecosystem expansion alone does not guarantee token demand.
