Netflix will release its Q3 earnings on October 20. The market is currently focused on two things: revenue growth and the advertising business.
The company’s own guidance is Q3 revenue of $12.86 billion, a year-over-year increase of about 12%. Operating margin is expected to be 33.2%, up 5 percentage points from 28.2% in the same period last year. Both revenue and margin are rising, but the growth rate has clearly slowed compared to previous years.
