$COMP Lending protocols are often judged by how much capital they attract, but the quality of that capital matters just as much. Compound's established position in decentralized lending gives COMP a recognizable role in DeFi governance. The bigger question is whether protocol usage can translate into meaningful token demand. Governance influence and actual economic value are not necessarily the same thing.
