CENTRAL BANKS ARE STILL BUILDING THEIR GOLD POSITIONS
Central banks purchased a net 321 tonnes of gold in Q3, up 42% year over year, according to World Gold Council data.
Gold ETFs added another 211 tonnes, taking total holdings to a record 4,256 tonnes.
Yet strong institutional demand has not prevented near-term price pressure from the dollar
The contrast is important: long-term demand remains strong, but short-term momentum still needs to recover.
