Chainlink addresses a fundamental problem in blockchain infrastructure: smart contracts cannot independently access reliable external information. Price feeds, cross-chain communication, and data services create practical infrastructure demand. However, technological importance does not automatically translate into token demand. The connection between network usage, service economics, and LINK's utility remains an important part of its investment thesis.
