NEAR's account abstraction and chain abstraction ambitions address an overlooked obstacle to mainstream blockchain adoption: fragmented user experiences. Most people do not want to manage complicated wallets, networks, and transaction processes. Simplifying those interactions could make blockchain applications more accessible. Execution matters, though; better infrastructure must eventually translate into recurring users and meaningful ecosystem activity.
