Lower transaction costs and Ethereum compatibility can attract applications, but competition among Layer-2 networks remains intense. Developers and users need compelling reasons to stay once incentives fade. Network activity, application revenue, and the relationship between ecosystem growth and ARB token demand deserve separate analysis rather than being treated as the same metric.
